The government, and city should help people out, and stop springing high property tax upon people that live on set incomes. With the city and government needing money, and bumping up property tax, it surprises people and ends their chance to remain in the same house. It gets people because without a warning people are forced to make decisions with little time. Honestly I feel as if the government should have to give out a warning or something letting people know that property taxes will be rising in the upcoming months. Even though that doesn’t fix the problem of a property tax rise, it gives people a chance if they want to stay and pay, or leave their home on their choice.
